Fast Abstracts, Posters and Student Forum Final Manuscript Submission Instructions


This page contains instructions for authors for submitting camera-ready final manuscript papers for publication in the proceedings of the Workshops that are part of the DSN 2011 Conference. Important Deadlines
  • Camera-ready papers due: May 1, 2011
  • Author registration by: May 1, 2011

In order for your paper to be included in the DSN 2011 supplemental proceedings you need to complete these three steps:

  1. Register for the conference
  2. Formatting your final manuscript
  3. Submitting the final manuscript

1. Conference Registration

For Author Registration: Each paper (regular papers, practical experience reports, demos, posters, workshop papers, fast abstracts) should have at least one paid Full registration.  For solely student authored Student Forum Papers, the student rate will apply for author registration. Author registration deadline is May 1, 2011.

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude or remove a paper from from IEEE Xplore® if the paper is not presented at the conference.

2. Formatting your manuscript

Your accepted paper will appear in the supplemental proceedings of the DSN 2011 conference.

The following information is intended to guide you on formatting your final manuscript.

Page Limit

The page limit is 2 pages for fast abstracts,  and 4 pages for poster papers and students forum papers (including all text, figures, references and appendices). Please note that it is not possible to purchase extra pages.

Templates

Submissions must adhere to the IEEE Computer Society 8.5"x11" two-column camera-ready format. Please include the authors names and affiliations. The templates are reproduced below for your convenience, and further details can be found here.

Please note that you should prepare the final manuscript with no page numbering.

3. Submitting your Final Manuscript

Please submit the final manuscript of your paper in PDF format to the respective chairs as per the instructions from them.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must submit the camera-ready version of your paper no later than May 1, 2011 11:59pm EST.
